In May 2018, The Military Museum of Fort Worth will move to a space five times its current size. The museum will remain in the Historic Fort Worth Stockyards in the Rodeo Plaza building, moving just down the hall. Through exhibits rich with WWI to modern uniforms, equipment and personal possessions, displayed with the stories of the men and women they came from, the museum is dedicated to connecting artifacts to the lives they represent.

The evening of March 8, 2018, the museum will host its first annual awards presentation and fund raiser. The event, open to the public with a $40.00 admission, will be held in their new space with a sneak peek at plans for interactive exhibits and grand opening festivities scheduled for Memorial Day, 2018.
